[Movies] New Writer Set For Spider-Man 4
Posted by Ashish on 10.31.2008

Sony is set to hire Pulitzer Prize winning writer David Lindsay-Abaire to write the screenplay for Spider-Man 4. Lindsay-Abaire won his Pulitzer for his play, Rabbit Hole. This seems to be an indication that the next film will return to a focus on the characters, something Spider-Man 3 seemed to go away from.

Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and director Sam Raimi will all return for the film.

Can Kirsten fuck off? I still don't see how she got cast as Mary Jane over other actresses.

They are casting Howard Stern as the Scarecrow and Cristopher Walken as Chloe Sullivan.

As long as it's nothing like the last film which was terrible in every conceivable way...they can have my money.

Focusing on the characters....didn't Ang Lee try this with his version of the Hulk?

Oh well, let's hope we get Felicia Hardy and the Lizard!

maybe this one can suck and not do as well as the last ones, so marvel can buy back their IP. I know it won't bomb just because its spiderman but maybe we can hope....

"Can Kirsten fuck off? I still don't see how she got cast as Mary Jane over other actresses."

she obvously had the talent to impress the director, the studio and majority of mainstream audiences.

sadly, the little fanboys are upset, but then again, when are they ever happy?

just claim that Raimi and Dunst have raped your childhood and go masturbate to an AJ Grey post.

I don't like Dunst because she looks like a jack-o-lantern...
